Tire Size limit??

Tire Size limit??
I have an 01' Chevy Blazer 2-door thats optional 4 wheel drive. I did nothing to the suspension at all. I realize that the wheel wells are rather small but I was wondering if anyone has a definite size tire that I can use that would be the biggest I can go without any wheel well problems.
I have tried to search on here but most people just went for the lift kit. I don't want to spend that kind of money (just dropped $1200 on a sound system but it was totally worth it with the crappy *** stock speakers that chevy dished out).
The tires would also be put on the stock rims. If you have any measurements that would be great. thanks.

i have a friend with a 98 2door he put 30x10.50x15 i believe and had some rubbing problems but was able to do some trimming and now only has a rubbing problem when the front end suspension is flexed fully. i have a 98 4-door in need of some bigger rubber. i've found several articles on google about tire size on stock suspension. maybe u should start there.

Look in the DIY section.
There is a thread about what fits and what hits.
Some options to get tires bigger than 30"

31"x10.5 /15
Most Blazer can fit 31"x10.5/15 tires by cranking the torsion bars in the front and putting longer shackles in the back, but some of them get minor rubbing under severe flex, which requires minor trimming on the end (lower part) of the fender's arch (not the wheel well). Some only need the plastic trim on the fender arches to be removed (plastic ones are thick).

I am in the process of rebuilding my front suspension right now.
I am replacing both the upper and lower ***** joints, bump stop, control arm bushings, and shocks on both sides. Plus I replaced the CV axle and hub assemble on the passengers side, and replacing the lower control arm bushings on the drivers side. Plus Im replacing the idler arm.
I have about $200 into parts and two weekends of work. CV axle covered under lifetime warrenty, and Autozone gives me a knock on my card everytime I spent $20 or more. The $100 hub assemble cost me $20. Used up $80 in credit.
Everything si original except the cv axle and hub assemble on the passengers side. My 2000 Blazer has 195,587 miles on the original ball joints. I run 30" tires since the day I got the truck in 2003 and it had 27,000 miles on her.
I figured it was about time to replace them. I'll bet you wont get 150,000 miles out of your ball joints with acranked suspension.

I've only had to replace two of my ball joints since I cranked my tbars the whole way and that was over a year ago... now cv axles and hubs are a different story...
