Looks like a bad casting to me...

 

One of the guys on s10forum had this same exact issue. I think RC sent him new keys for free. Def is a bad casting on RC's end.

 

i had the same problem as your friend bgrigtravis, i could only get the driver's side to get in alignment, the passenger side was not even close. it was so bad the the person from the shop even called to see if the truck had been wrecked because he couldn't get it even close to spc alignment. he's also the best at alignments in my area. that's saying something.
