Default Torsion bars and leaf springs

i am looking to replace the torsion bars and leaf springs on my 89' s10 blazer 4.3L 4x4. what i need to know is what years are a direct match to mine? will zr2 bars and springs fit? any help would be great i'm anxious to get to the bone yard.

i read this thread before i posted this one and seached online to see if those part numbers would fit in my 89'. to no avail. so i'm asking if those bars will fit my model.

2nd gen t-bars will fit but require you to grind the bump off the one end. Once you get them you'll know what I'm talking about.

According to rock auto, they share the same lower control arms, and basically the front suspension was unchanged from 82-04. I'm willing to bet they will fit. In 95 or 96 GM changed the rear mounting for the rear mounts on the torsion bars.

I'd compare them side by side though.

I've done the swap and the little bump has to be ground off. In 54 they revised some things but left the part numbers the same and there are very minor changes.

WTH for, lol, I'm sorry.

Neo: I used to haul bulk cement all over Arkansas, East Texas, Northern La and some into Oklahoma. Theres not many of those little towns I haven't been thru at least once or twice.

Depending on the time frame I've prolly talked to ya then if ya had a radio in the truck. Used to drive a bob truck all over arky, east TX, OK, west TN, and MS.
