help 99 blazer 4x4

Default help 99 blazer 4x4

i need to know what is the offset on my 99 blazer 4x4. ive been told high and ive been told it was a 0. i need some help so i dont make a mistake on the wrong rims. thank to all!

offset? you mean back spacing?

ok i have a 4 door 99 blazer 4x4 some sites say it has a +50 offset others say 0 offset. i dont understand im guessing the 4x4 makes it a + offset.

almost all aftermarket 15x7's have 4" BS or 4.5... it's the 6" BS you need if you're a 4wd that are hard to find...

google "cragar soft 8" and try to find a pair of 15x7's that AREN'T 4"

Keep in mind you don't NEED a 6" backspacing though. The 4" will do just fine, they will just stick out a bit more then the stock rims. You may have some rubbing issues too if you do with a bigger tire.
I still am curious to know if we're talking about the same thing though? You mention + and 0 amounts? That doesn't sound to me like backspacing...at least I've never heard it put in terms like that before.

some manufacturers use offset instead of backaspacing. It is the distance from the center of the wheel to the mounting surface. Positive offset is what the stock wheels have, an 8 inch wide wheel with 4 inch backspacing will have 0 offset. ** offset is measured in millimeters
