I dont have ANY rot or even surface rust on mine. I am very lucky in that sence i guess. My s10s had some but was nothing to take care of. I know all about rot tho. Living in Sault Ste Marie ontario, i swear they use straight salt on the roads. actually they do there is like a 10 percent mix of sand in with it haha

where i moved they mostly use sand but yea lol when i drive to the city theres salt around

its gross the amount of salt they use up here. ofcourse our winters are pretty bad. but still. its disgusting. i wash my vehicles atleast once a week durring the winter. otherwise its all white and crusty and just disgusting. undercoating and rustproofing is a nessicity up here atleast once a year.

O yea same here i wash our trucks off once its a slight warmer get all that nasty salt/sand off the trucks
