Default tire and rim sizing

hey guys i need help, first of all i have a 99 s10 4door blazer, the stock rims i have on now are 15x7s. my question to you guys is can i put 15x8s on without any adjustments or not. if so will the stock tires go on the 8s or will i have to go to a bigger tire? im looking for some black rims(rock crawler style). appreciate any help i can get. thanks

Just have to make sure that the backspacing is the same or if anything a 1/2" shorter to center the rim

If your truck is a 4wd, then around 6" of backspacing. 2wd is around 4". Backspacing is measured from the back lip of the rim to the hub mounting surface.

You will probably want to get wider tires, but the stock tires probably wouldn't be too bad on an 8" wide rim.
