I'm thinking I'll probably just drive the murano up just so I can move a little faster without sticking out to the popo so much lol!

Probably a good idea. Police around this area are bored.

Just curious if my pics are working for everyone else cause they aren't for me. I may need to start paying for stupid photobucket if they aren't so I have more bandwidth or that's what photobucket is telling me wtf!!

Edit: just upgraded after reading into it and apparently my photos were viewed to many times for my free subscription so I've upgraded and all should/better be well soon and this shouldn't happen again in the future!

Never knew there was a limit!

Seems like everyone wants a monthly payment these days ...

Can someone tell me what the inside measurement is of the frame rails directly above the rear axle on a blazer? Sounds ridiculous that I'm asking I know but I'm 1000 miles from my blazer so me measuring is out of the question and I'd like to order a shock mount bar so it arrives when I return home next week. Obviously if it's to short I don't want to order it so if anyone could be so kind that would be great!!

The dimension to the outside of the frame can be found in THIS PDF on page 57, which shows 1024.4 mm (40.33 inches). The very back part of the frame area where the rear most body mount is attached shows a width of 110.7 mm (4.36 inches). It appears as though the frame is about half as wide up above the rear axle as it is at the rear body mount so you are looking at roughly 36 inches.

I would shoot for something near the full width of ~40 inches just to make sure that you have something that you can cut down to fit.

Just got home form 10 days in Siesta Key yesterday and now its back to reality While I was away I ordered my lower shock mounts for the rear and they arrived today right on time. These things are pretty nice! They will keep the shock on top of the axle out of the way of hangups and allow me to mount the shocks at any angle I need.

I'm going to have to spend some real time figuring out if I should go inside or outside of the springs. If I go outside I will have to change up my exhaust because it is right in the way now.
Outside (I really should have painted that caliper before I put it on )

I was going to order a shock cross member but after looking at what I have on hand and getting under the truck for a bit I'm just going to fab up my own.

And for anyone who cares this is the view I had for the last 10 days from our condo in Siesta Key

Took the wife and kids and some friends out on the boat for a bit as well. You can see Bentley sitting right in front of the console with his life vest on He loves being out on the boat and he is only 2.5.

Started my rear upper shock mount today. I'm happy with how it's turned out so far. All that's left is to add some plate to the ends and it will be ready to weld to the frame. Not much else to explain so here's the pics!
