Default Automatic Shift ****

Greetings,

I have a 2001 BlaZeR2 with a column shifter. Is it possible to change out the **** on the end of the shifter?

Thanks in advance.

Yes there is a staple in the back of the shifter, use a screwdriver to pull it out. Find a shifter that can clamp down on the rod.

I have a 2001 extreme that the button on the floor shifter when put in park does not engage correctly and will not let me turn the car off all the way sometimes. Is there anything I need to look for when removing the **** from the arm?
