How do the quick connect transmission cooler lines attach to the 4L60E tranny?
I just purchased a 1996 Chevy Blazer 4x4 and it had a front pumpeal leak. I pulled the trans out, replaced the seal and Im putting it back in. I have the bellhousing bolted up, but I cant figure out how to get the transmission lines to connect. They have these little spring clips and the lines are a compression fit. I push the lines in as hard as I can with one hand while taking the other hand to push in these spring clips. I cant get them in. Is there something Im missing? Do I need a special tool?
thanks

Install the clips into the connector, then push the line into the connector. Give the line a pull to make sure it's snapped in secure.

Thanks for the info, but I cant get these lines to snap in. How hard do I need to push? Is it easier to unscrew the adpaters on the side of the trans, snap the lines in, then screw the adapters back in?
