4wd Hub/Bearing Assembly Replacement

Just to clear something up... The hub assembly is $184 at pepboys. The hub bearings are only $16 and $18 for inner and outer, respectively. If all you need are the bearings then going this way woul be much cheeper.

Do they really sell the bearings to the public, all I can find is the complete hub assembly...

The difference is 4wd vs 2wd. You cannot just replace the bearings in the 4wd hub/bearing assembly. The $16 & $18 price quotes are for the 2wd spindle inner and outer bearings, not for a 4wd.

Exactly, I already looked into this. I think im gonna be doing it next weekend. I gotta go get a jack. I read over that sticky ( thanks ) and it seems like it can't be that complicated. Im sure ill figure it out.
