97 4x4 blazer hard to shift out of park

Default 97 4x4 blazer hard to shift out of park

my 97 blazer is a pain in the *** to shift out of park u have to sit there and mess with it over and over untill it decided to let u move the shifter the button wont push in to allow me to shift any help?

There is a switch on your brake that releases that button...basically you press on the brake and can then move the shifter....check that switch...
