Default Roof Rack removal

So when I want to take out the crossing beams on the blazer roof rack I...

1. Remove the entire rack?
2. slip the out?

You can either take of the whole rack or just the front or the back brackets and slide them off

In order to get the brackets off though, theres a screw underneath which can be harder (but possible) to get to if it's still on the vehicle.

Plus you never know, you may like the look without it. I drove around for a week or so without the rack while I was painting it and the look started to grow on me..

Well its to put two more rails on..... I am planning on going to the local pull and save (7 bucks a piece) and was going to take two or three... but I do not have the most expansive tool set..... Previous trips to the pull and save were with the fiancee's father and his magical bag of tools.... I swear it was like 50 pounds and the only thing missing was a drill press....
