2 year check-in on my process. It's hold up pretty well. There is the occasional fading from the intense Florida sunshine where I am. Normally when I wash I add a bit of Mother's Back to Black to restore the luster and give it some UV protection. 303 Protectant is also an amazing product for trim. Although lately I've been using Nu Finish ceramic coating that seems to works pretty well on painted plastic.

The other important thing I learned the hard way is to not use cheap-o car wash formulas. I tried a Walmart branded car wash and all the black trim on my Blazer was faded the next day. I always stick to Turtle Wax's triple action formula now.
