Finally going to attempt this tomorrow since my dad is in town and he is a wizard with car customizations. So you guys are just drilling straight through to the metal behind the interior panel and insulation and then putting the nuts there? Someone should make a video some day haha.

Ok so when my brother got it from the pick and pull he did not know that the handle was broken. Can someone post some pictures of the mechanism that unlatches that mount? I know there is a string involved I just don't know how it works.

Finally done after 4 hours yesterday. Luckily since my dad was in town he helped put the thing on. Only issue I really ran into was big hands haha. Did not have to cut any of the inside panel but with the nuts closest to the tailgate I ran the bolt through the opposite way. Made it much easier. Have not noticed any warping yet except for some over tightening. This is the first exterior project I have done besides painting everything. Soon to follow is a 2'' lift, some new tires, and a new brush guard.

This is where I ran the bolt the opposite way. Just cut off the excess

The warping from the over tightening.

Joined the Club!

Found one at local you pick here for $40 canadian. had it bolted in and on within 2 hours, used all factory hard ware too, just added washers and nuts. only needed to make a hole near the floor to get to those bolts with my hand and one up top. Rest was a little pain to get too, but all in all, it was easy I found it lol. Will try to get pictures, still need to silicone it and give it paint.
