2500 after I get an Incriminator Death Penalty Sub and Upgrade my speakers to something that can handle around 100+ RMS each. My 4 channel is rated for 1000W and has a 100amp fuse. My mono is rated 1500 with 2 70amp fuses.

They will do close to those numbers too. MB Quart stands behind them fully.

I have the Mono at half input its close to killing my current subs.

Looking at this alt and the aforementioned batteries!

Same amps. my current subs only hold 400RMS each so thats only 800 RMS between them. Thats only utilizing just over half the power of the mono. Speakers are just reference series from MB and one is rattly. I'm not sure what I'm gonna upgrade to but I do like the Hifonics triton but hard to find for a good price, and will inquire MAJOR modifications lol.

I like these for speakers http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_...+-BA6-V2-.html

I cant find a suitable 6x9's yet but Maybe 2 sets of ^^^^ and I will be set.

you could also do something like a 3 way setup up front and say forget the rears.

i'm running my JL Audio VR comps up front with the radios internal amp turned off.

woofers in the door, tweeters next to the door handles, and the sub in the trunk.

Here is what i did today.

took my amp apart to replace the set screws the previous owner stripped and decided to replace with regular screws.

Just wanted to run these by you guys before I get them, I won't be pushin them with an amp for awhile...

Also, should I ditch 6x9's in the rear and put in 6 1/2's? I've heard 6x9's are crap...

just a good crisp clean sound. I don't care at all for bass out of my speakers... thats what a sub is for...

I want SQ.

well then.... i'll just say spend more money on the front speakers because rears (without a processor/time alignment) won't sound that great. i hated my rear speakers. i only left them in for when i have to pull my amps out to load stuff in the trunk.

Well Mack I might just throw the 6x9/6.5s in sealed boxes on top of my sub box. That way I can turn them to face outside. I have my 4 channel at 2 channel setting cuz I only have 2 sets of rca's. I had to use one for my tv and don't have money for a new set. So once I get another I will rip it all apart again and pull the 6x9s outta the rear and put them in boxes and switch to 4 channel so I can actually adjust the fade lol

nice. when people ask me about speakers i become biased to what i like. when i used to install for people i would let them sit in my truck (when i only had the JL woofers and stock tweeters) and they thought i spent a ton of money doing this that and the other... i would then turn the rears on and they would hate it. but thats me. other people on here have been in the game longer than i have and have more knowledge.

next spring i'm going to do something completely different speaker wise. separate woofers and full ranges. i don't like tweeters. i'll be running an active system which will give me some amazing control over everything so i'll be excited again haha
