i dont think the subs at an angle will sound very good......you would probably be better off firing them both straight up like jon said in the CRX box

Yea and dont listen to what the manufacturer says for the demensions of boxes.
You can get more if u just experiment with box sizes. Kicker will prolly recommend some BS like 1.5cuft when it'll sound better at 4 (thats just an example)

hmmmm...... i have to have the subs facing toward the ceiling so I can throw crap in the back and not have to worry about the sub faces...lol illl probably just go a bit taller than the box I currently have and port it....

i didn't build mine off the exact dimensions kicker gave me i just needed an idea on how big i could go and still have optimal performance...they recomended 4 cubes each i went ahead in did 4.5 cubes each..

just a thought...but would it be a bad idea to angle the back of the box to fit flush against the seats. It'd help conserve space? i dont much about the technicalities of it all but...

thats how my sealed box is, angled, seems to save a couple inches....also makes a nice angled up view for my amp
