Need HELP... Amp/battery power wire connector
So Ive done quite a bit of sound system hook ups in my life. The only thing it has always been on imports or cars that have a slip on terminal style connector on the battery. The type of battery that has a little post sticking out the top and you slide the ring on the post and tighten it using the nut. Anyways this is the first time I have seen this style of battery where you tighten the screw that goes through the terminal and into the battery.
Currently im in the the middle of my sound system install and I run into this. Im wondering if anyone has any suggestions on how to connect the amp power wire up to this type of battery.

Umm... you just put the battery bolt through the ring terminal on your amp wire and screw it back in.

well i got it. I just cut up the terminal i put on there, smashed down the crimp portion, and kind shoved it on there. thanks for the help.

Just to make things easier and since I needed a new battery anyway I just got a dual post battery. System's hooked up to the top terminals and hooked the stock ones back up to the sides.

In the future use a gm battery terminal bolt made for adding accessories

I didn't do anything to the battery or the stock harness. I modified the terminal on power wire going to the amp and its all covered by a rubber terminal sleeve.
Now that I know there is a specific terminal connector like one shown above I will swap it out and do it up nice. Thanks xmradioguy...
