Question stock cd player problems

Well I'm having problems with my stock cd player. When I'm driving sitting in park or in neutral my factory cd player will shut off and turn back on real quick. I'm just trying to figure out if it is just a bad ground or something similar. Any answers would be appreciated.

get a meter and meter out what you're getting as far as voltage to the deck when it cuts out. if i recall right orange is constant 12v, yellow is switched 12v, and black is ground.

And I would just use it on the bare wires? And when it cuts out its for 1 or 2 seconds and then its back on

you would either cut away a bit of the insulation and put the meters probes there or do waht i prefer and just backprobe the harness.

yeah that's the simple way to see if for some reason one circuit either constant or switched is dropping in voltage. which would obviously cause the unit to shut off.
