Im torn between 2 subs.

Alpine type R 15", or a Kicker solo baric L5 15".

Ive looked at the specs and they are the same im pretty sure. Are the square subs any better than the circles?

WHICH ONE SHOULD I GET?

 

square subs may have more cone area, but supposedly have not so good suspensions.

depending on how much power you have, id suggest an sa-15 or something by AQ.

but if your dead set on those 2, id get the type r

 

im sure either would be fine i have a 10 year set of850 watt pioneer subs 12s with a couple of 700watt bazooka amps they still pound like the first day i jammed them, those kickers pound all to beat hell i have never heard a set of the others though never been much for alpine stuff i guess good luck with your choice im sure what you choose will sound good either way
