So I've been motivated to find the original pics of when I first found the blazer. On my way to work, sitting in all her glory. Not a problem with her, 1400$. 180 000km.

As well I found a pic of the wife's old sonoma. She really misses that truck, I'm gonna try and find her one next year. I used to have a 2000 s10 zr2. Had to sell it tho, didn't have my license at the time. Didn't have room to store it either unfortunately.

Her sonoma had those nice ZQ8 wheels, too.

Love this thread, lots of ideas DonL.

Southern Ontario. But thanks that's almost worth the drive for something with that low of km on it. But either way, she has to wait till the new year. And she doesn't want the xtreme or zr2 . Just plane Jane s10 or sonoma 3 door lol.

I loved those rims. Truck handled great too... factory lowered. Only thing I did was the fender flares on the back. Had about 250k on it and we sold it for 2500. I really miss my zr2 tho. Had just over 450k on it, 5 speed, sold that one for 1000. Couldve got more but had to make it a quick sale.

oh and thanks! She's a build in progress as is most lol... but she's my DD. the wife and I share her at the moment. So I can only do what she likes. Once I get her her own truck, game on!

I really like the bumper you used. Pulling the valance and bumper off is something I have not done yet.
Was it a lot of trouble?
I am looking at grabbing an Olds Bravada bumper/valance, similar to this;

Really like having the factory fog lights out of the way, and still have the tow hooks accessible.

I cannot see the pic, but no it was really easy. The gmc and oldsmobile bumpers I've seen are different then the chevy, but they are alike for the gmc and oldsmobile... if you look at a jimmy or bravada, the grill drops down into the bumper, as the chevy do not. That why I went with the s10 bumper instead. Not sure what that gap would look like with the chevy grill.
but either way, about 4-6 bolts after you take off the grill.

I got that picture up... it looks like the bravada doesnt have that indent the gmc bumber has...
