And for your viewing pleasure

This is the view from inside my Sonoma

4" more ground clearance at the frame than my Blazer and 5" more than my Sonoma

The major work is done now it all the little things.

Exhaust needs to be modified to clear the front driveshaft.
The transmission crossmember needs to be modified to clear the front driveshaft.
Need to buy a tuner to fix the speedo. (recommendations are welcome)
Relocate steering stabilizer.

I found a jeep front driveshaft that is 28" collapsed and 31 " extended. It will be really close, so I rebuilt it because the U joints were bad and the front driveshaft will spin all the time with my current set up.

Parked beside a stock ZR2.

U joints and centering ball I removed and replaced.

4 Door driveshaft that I have shortened to the correct length since the lift. U joints on the rear shaft are running at 15 degrees which is max angle from my research. I will rethink the rear shaft if I have any issues in the future.

I also picked up a 10 " drop hitch to pull my little utility trailer. I don't think I want more drop than this.

Cross member was modded slightly to fit the driveshaft as was the exhaust. I will redo the exhaust system with something more high flow when I get extra cash.

I relocated the steering stabilizer before going out last week end.

Went out for a trip last week end and the blazer did well, it will do better when I learn more about the SAS. I need to bump stop the front and rear, limit strap the front and put in a swaybar for the hiway driving.

I has a slight problem with my front springhanger/crossmember design.

I removed the bent 1/4" plate and beefed it up.

First pass.

Capped.

I didn't take a picture of the gussets on the bottom, but it looked like this.
