tattoo with a meaning
i think that would be kind of cool. like a 1/3 turned?
i would have it appear to be jumping out over the banner. defiantely make for a higher impact visually.
and they're right regardign the price you pay is the quality you get. i haven't got my ink done yet, cause i'm in no rush, and would rather spend the larger coin to have it come out just right, rather than, "meh, it looks good enough". i've got almost a 2 year wait for the artist, and it took me about 5 years to get it all worked out just right.
GL. be sure to post a few pic's of the finished product, whenever you get around to it.
is this a tattoo sketch request thread now??? Bre pm me if you dont mind doing one up for me..its fairly easy but wouldnt mind some input.
ii breezed over most of the posts and saw a few things.
1 - its not really like getting a needle and does not feel like that...its more like a pin dragging, except for shading areas they use a kind of fan of needles.
2- pain levels depend on the person, i useto have a high pain tolerance but i think that has broken down over the years due to other injuries... i sat for a 6.5hr tattoo and the only breaks was when he wanted to go for a smoke. i would saw i have about 1/3rd of my back covered... its got my last name, 2 revolvers, and a bunch of smoke. im thinking of adding to it but havent decided what yet...actually it was done 5 years ago and havent even gotten the touchups done and he wanted to darken up and smooth out some of the letters.
my other tattoo is on my calf, i got the lettering done and some of a design, then we were hanging out one day and i said u know i want it a little bigger...what ya think??? what can fit there? so we flipped through his pics to pull ideas, ended up with a cross and angel wings and more designs around it.. it really ties in with it well, and my leg is my fave tat...i have a couple more in mind and ill get them eventually.
3- go to a artist you know or have been referred to, best to look at work they did 6 months ago..after its had a chance to heal, of possible look at work that was done before that.
all artists have differnt styles or higher abilitys with fifferent types of tattoos, some do lettering , portraits, cartoons/zombie type stuff, and my friend loves putting skulls on everything...hes been bugging me to get one but its not really something i want.
my friend is the only one i will go to, he does amazing work, and i cant argue with what he charges me...its no where near what he charges others...
