Does anyone know where this DRAC module is located? I’ve seen 2 locations on google. Behind the glovebox and under steering column but I’ve looked in both areas and I’m not seeing it

For the W and Z vin#s most times on right side around glove box area may even be found under kick panel on right side. The size of a pack of cigarettes. 4 wires.

The jimmy RUNS AND SHIFTS!! It fixed the problem. The guy that sold it to me must have replaced the vss buffer and forgot to hook it up correctly cuz when I found it I took out the two screws holding it to the ecm bracket and it fell out completely. No harnesses attached. I looked at it and it looked brand new. So I traced the harnesses for it. Plugged them in, reattached those screws to hold it in place and everything is working now.. Thank you all for the help. I really appreciate it

The DRAC module was behind the glove box, riveted to the ecm. There is a small wiring harness attached to it.

I also have a 94 Jimmy. Mine was sitting just below the heater core, probably would be the easiest to access from below the dash where the plastic sits but it sits just behind that glovebox. Is your Jimmy doing the same thing mine was? No shift? No speedometer or odometer.?

My odometer works abs light on and no shifting. Do you know of a video of the plastic being removed. I dropped the panel under glove box and saw the wires going to computer.but accessing it a different story.
