Hi guys
I'm a newbie to the forum. I bought a Chevy Blazer LT 2000 last December '09. Which HID conversion set is the recommended one in my case? I would appreciate your input.

Thanks

David

Here is a link to page 6 of this thread. I posted a review for my 2000 Blazer with pics, etc.... CLICK HERE

And here is the installation guide. Takes about 10-20 minutes... CLICK HERE

Just decide what color you want, and be sure to check my review as what they call "white" is actually a blueish color. I took pics of the new HID's next to my Caddy with OEM HID's in it so you can see the difference.

Hi what's the difference between the Bi-Xenon and the
"normal" conversion kit? I am planning to buy the 100000K HID kit. Is there anyone out there that maybe have installed it.

Regards
David

HI David,

Your bulb type is

2000 CHEVROLET Blazer
Low beam headlamp
9006
High beam headlamp
9005

1.) Go to this link to check on bulb type
http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProd...lacementGuide/

2.) Then go to www.hidextra.com and choose the (BULB TYPE AND COLOR)

3.) Use Express checkout

4.) Input coupon code: fspecial-m to get $15 off the kit price

5.) IF you are purchasing more than one kit, please do SEPARATE transactions for EACH kit in order to get discount on all kits.

Thanks`

HI,

Hi/lo means there is two bulbs and one bulb base, so your low beam is HID and high beam is halogen.

The bi-xenon means both low beam and high beam is HID.

So there is a small metal piece inside the bulbs that uses electro magnetic energy to shift low to high (or bulb tilts) changing it's focus point (near to farther for high beam)

These types of bulbs are called dual beam and only certain bulb types and certain cars have that.

Thanks!
