Bought my 00' 2dr in 08' with 98k miles for $3000. Now has 199k.

-New engine installed - cracked the block @ 150k
-Rebuilt trany when the engine was replaced
-2x Alternator - replaced it with a refurbished one that failed on the last day of the warranty so it was replaced again for free.
-Radiator
-Water pump
-Thermostat
-Fuel pump
-Fuel cap
-Driver door panel
-then the usual maintenance stuff break pads, tires, oil, coolant.

Toys added
-Stereo
-4x speakers "rear and door"
-amp and subs

More stuff coming soon. Someone abandoned a 2dr LT and it's been sitting at our tow yard almost long enough so I'm going to swap some body parts on it.

Current issues

-ABS & Parking break light come on together. Results in no ABS. It doesn't happen all the time. Can figure out what the cause is though. The manual says pull over immediately and have it towed to the dealer.
-Heater core leaks. I just corked the hoses. Heater never worked though. Happened two weeks ago.
-Differential is starting to go.
-Need to replace the lifts on the rear glass. Sometimes it holds and sometimes it doesn't. It's not fun getting hit with that spike to the back of the head.

I wish I was fortunate enough to find an abandoned Blazer, 98+. I've got the core support, I just need the bumper, grille, and headlamp assemblies to swap out the front end on my 97.

I got mine a little over a year ago for $600, somewhat running.
So far I have put:

-Fuel injector
-Fuel pump
-Fuel filter
-(2) 4x4 actuators
-Plug wires
-IAC vlave
-TPS sensor
-cv axle
-Thermostat
-Starter
-Sway bar links
-Breaks, front and back
-(4) Wrangler territories 235 75 r15
-Battery
-Rear axle seal
-Vacuum switch and all vacuum lines

And many other things... I have also added 4 ipf 900 series lights, 12" kicker sub and a 300watt kicker amp. I am always adding stuff to it every week.

So far I have put $3400 into it... At least its reliable now and fun offroad.

Default Almost done!? Yea, right.

We got the Jimmy Sept. 2009. Soon after that the sunstar gear went out in the trans so we had it rebuilt with a HP replacement. The next winter we had a rebuilt engine installed. After that I installed a Rough Country lift kit, ZR2 T-bars, and skid plates.

I am really proud of my Hunter grill guard/Stowmaster towbar/winch mount, all of it removable by pulling out two pins.

Had to replace my fuel pump this week. $49 on ebay, Some may think it is a risk, but as they are all made in the same factory in China, what is wrong with saving $200?
