Default Pulling out my hair anyone have a O ring diagrams for lines to the radiator 02 blazer

So did a radiator swap didn’t look at the inside of the fittings on the old one like an idiot. For things like o rings or metal seals…

So when I dropped in the new rad I screwed in the oil fittings vs utilizing the quick clips. And when I put the fittings in, I got a bad leak on the upper pass side line when the trucks running.

Can somebody please me tell if this fitting is supposed to have a rubber o ring in the inside and also on the outer end??

Didn’t seem like an o ring would stay on here

No, that is not supposed to use an o-ring, it seals on the flare. I see some minor burrs on your fitting that may be causing an issue. Are you getting an oil leak or a coolant leak? Inside the radiator there is a seal to the fitting bung. I have seen those leak.

It’s funny you say that it was leaking out from the line into the nut. And there was also a mess of antifreeze in the area too on a new rad.

I didn’t run it too long to see the coolant leak source and where it’s coming from due to the trans oil flowing out.

I believe I need a dorman 800605 for that fitting. Judging from what you’re saying maybe this will fix both of my issues. I suspected maybe the rad cracked during shipping.

That should be a replacement for the fitting you have. See if you can snug up the big nut holding the fitting in the radiator, don't go nuts though. We ran into a lot of the aftermarket radiators that had issues there. So many the beam counters only allow us to buy the GM or Delco stuff.

Ended up resolving it by replacing the fitting with dorman 800605 and carefully putting the hose into the fitting then popping in the clip.

Found a nice divit in the sealing area of the old one after all.
