Unfortunately I have nothing but dirt to work on and not enough time to do it. I'm considering buying a couple of sheets of 3'4" plywood to work off of, then I just need to find the time. I did turn the wheel and found that both ball joints have zirc fittings. I pulled out the grease gun and greased them all. Headed for You Pull It to find parts for the wife's car and by the time I got home almost all the squeek was gone. That at least buys me a little more time.
I noticed today that there's no more squeek ! Guess all it needed was some grease......
Got to wire wheeling, sanding, and shooting primer on my new-to-me roof rack
Had the same rack a while back, sold it when I let the mother in law borrow the Blazer... Over the weekend I found a good deal on a used one on Craigslist so I jumped on it. It's a little rusty in spots, thus the wire wheeling... but it's coming clean and I'll be hitting it with some gloss black, mounting some LED lights to it, and throwing it on the roof in a few weeks!
Today, I pressed in the ujoints and installed my driveshaft, readjusted my toe.
During the week and last weekend, I changed both inner and outer tie rods, upper and lower ball joints, front rotors and pads, and installed new to me brush guard.
now i got abs light, who cares,,,but it dont shift right,,,,read up on it,,,BUT how the heck is abs related TO something with the tranny????????????????
