Installed the new Stop Tech cryo treated, slotted rotors and new Hawk Performance Light Truck and SUV pads. I went with the cryo rotors and up graded pads because I tow a boat up and, more importantly, down some long and steep grades. (One of them has 5 runaway truck ramps.)
The part numbers are:
Rotors: Stop-Tech Cryo treated, slotted pns, 126.66038CSR, 126.66038CSL
Pads: Hawk Performance LTS Light truck and SUV pads pn HB304.Y.598, D726-7593, LTS

As a matter of fact, it does have a working parking brake. With my Blazer used to launch my sailboat, having a working is very important to me! Are you having trouble with yours? I learned the hard-way how to figure out how to get them shoes adjusted which is done at the brake NOT with the parking brake cable. I later found the official GM manual pages that described how to do it. I can post them if you like.
Mine doesn't work at all, actually. I have a constant E BRAKE and ABS light on, been like that since I got the truck. I know the ABS thing is probably due to the solder wearing out, just never got around to fixing it.
Nice looking brake upgrade Christine. I would be interested in adjusting the E brake if you could post the info.

Basically, you have to disconnect the parking brake shoes form the parking brake cable or make sure the cables are slack. (for rear disk brake models) Then you have to manually set the adjuster by trial and error so that the shoes don't rub the inside of the drum (backside of the rear rotor). You have to put on the rotor (if not also the wheel), pull on the parking brake mechanism to center the shoes and then spin the rotor/wheel to test if they've been adjusted correctly. To test if the adjustment is correct, you adjust it so that you hear rubbing and then back it off just so that it is not rubbing.
I did a thing today... Got my new brush guard put on. It's a Go Rhino series 3000, the same type the FBI uses which is why I got it. Next week, I'm getting my Westin nerf bars put on, a 2.5 RC suspension lift, and my new Falken 31s and Vision 15 inch rims.
