Tom, I had the 2000 suburban seats sitting in the 67 when I took the picture. I just swapped the blazer seats into the 67 and the 2000 suburban seats into the blazer.

The only issue is access to the back seat, since the new seats don't tilt or move forward far enough for a normal sized person to get back there.

Ah, it makes much more sense now.

When I had my '74, I put Dodge van seats in it that didn't tilt forward, so I turned the back seat around facing backwards and passengers got in and out through the back window. Not a perfect solution, but it worked.

I thought about that, but I don't have kids, and this is going to be my "run around town" vehicle, so there is little chance of anyone ever trying to get back there.
I did a center console "delete" too, so they can climb back there by going betwixt the front seats.

Default Pinion Bearing & Seal, Tailpiece Seal

Replaced rear pinion bearings and seal. Replaced the tailpiece seal & changed the transfer case fluid. Note: I have the NV236 AWD transfer case and the OEM Service Manual specifies Auto Trak II transfer case fluid. I drained the transfer case fluid and the fluid looked liked gear oil and was pretty clean. The Auto Trafk II fluid is a very bright blue fluid. Somewhere along the line the correct transfer case fluid was not installed in the transfer case.

Had you noticed any malfunction in your transfer case operation due to the wrong fluid being in it?

Are you planning to do another drain and refill soon to flush it?

Not that I know off. Right now I have an issue with the shift motor not completing shifts. But the fluid has been in there for years.

Exclamation 97 Blazer...

Took wheels off the 91 Blazer of my childhood that has been sitting in my parent's backyard for like 5 years and put them on my 97 Blazer. Also got new tires to put on them. Cleaned up fairly well considering they were sitting out.

They're American Racing AR62's. Missing all the center caps but just ordered them.

Before...

After...

wheel before...

partial clean to show comparison...

done cleaning front...

done cleaning inside...

completed and ready for new tires.

Also replaced rear shocks, added some leaf spring helpers and replaced all u-joints. Busy day.

profile...

Looks good. I picked up a set and going to use them with the next tire purchase...
