replaced the ignition switch after work. for a dealer flat rate time of 1.5 hrs it took me about 3. but some of that was trying to hunt down a really small female torx bit.

I really should have just done my repair research in the tech forums and avoided anything else around here. Before joining I had never thought about doing half the stuff I now have planned, and I feel kinda guilty if I go a week without doing something on the thing

Lol Wyzard... that's what this place is for.
Today err yesterday (being lazy) I got the 2 lower ball joints, PS upper ball joint & the PS upper bushings replaced. Picked it up... steering wheel / (angled like that) lol.
Took it in today for a front end alignment.... omg... you don't know what you got till it's gone!
I knew it was pushing into corners, I knew it was hurting mileage, I knew it looked just plain stupid with the front tires \ / or how ever.
But wow, having the steering wheel centered & the truck goes that way because that's normal & not me correcting the misalignment? Yeah that's magical lol.

I got this pretty lady to assist me with a certain job tomorrow lol.

Basically, need a breaker bar to take out the bolts already in there so I can put on meh diffy skid plate. I tried with a 3/8 ratchet and sockets, but not enough leverage. So I wd-40'ed the bolts and tomorrow I'll use meh new 3/8 breaker bar.

Good luck! I prefer my impact in those situations... usually makes quick work of it. At least, it does when it's charged...and doesn't snap the bolt.

You have a cordless battery powered impact wrench? What brand is yours? All the cordless or electric corded that I have found don't have enough umph!
