How much would a 2inch shackle lift effect gas milage? and other ?'s about the lift

Coil spacers eh? Ive never heard of those. I imagine they go on the bottom or top of the springs though. When I put the Belltech springs in my kid brothers truck, we had a hard enough time getting them in and had to use a spring compressor on the motor side to make them curve enough to get the lower arm jacked up without the spring popping out. I can imagine what kind of a nightmare its going to be with a stock spring with another 2 inch spacer on it... I dont have any advice on getting that one put back together except if its not goin in to take the contol arm off the frame too and jack it up straight and fasten the control arm on the frame and balljoint that way... That front suspentions going to be rock hard with the spring under another 2 inches of load all the time.

Hey new guy, nvanzee knows what he is talking about.
Think about it- lets say for example a vehicle sits 2 feet off the ground, is 7 feet long, and 4 feet wide (just throwing out random numbers). So we have essentially a box with a certain Volume of air underneath it. Volume is the amount of something a shape can hold. Volume of a box = LxWxH. 7x4x2 = 56ft cubed.
Now raise it 2 inches. [2 ft + 2 inches (out of twelve to make a foot) = 2 & 2/12, put in the simplist form is 2 & 1/6. So our new numbers are Volume = 7x4x2.166 = 60.66ft cubed.
60.66 > 56. So yeah, nvanzee is right. Numbers don't lie.
EDIT: Forgot to add- more air under the car = more drag = worse MPG.

you probably wont notice much, if any gas mileage difference. Larger tires normally kill your mpg worse than lifts. Its the increased rolling resistance of larger tires. 235's arent much bigger than the stock options for your vehicle to begin with. As for the post about aerodynamics, and air volume and such, that makes a big difference when you are dealing with vehicles that are designed with aerodynamics in mind. Im pretty sure that was far from the minds of the creators of the chevy blazer.
