anybody in the central jersey area wanna install my shackles for me? i can not get the bolts outs of the bushings!! it took me and a buddy almost 5 hours to get the bolts and bushing out of the leaf springs but then i ran out of time so i had to install the new bushings in the old leaf springs to drive home. and i dont feel like even trying to get the bolts and bushings out of the frame

The ones on the frame were a lot easier than the ones on the springs. Sounds like you got the hard part done already!

they dont seem any easier... the bolts are just as stuck and seized in the bushing as the ones in the springs were. but the ones in the frame seem in a more difficult spot to press the bolts out

Have you looked at https://blazerforum.com/forum/articl...-thread-43925/

I had the same problem. If you have an air hammer, that will knock them right out!!

I dont know what to tell you man. Mine came out by hand the same as any other bolt. I was mildly disappointed after reading so many reports of people having trouble. Have you tried an air hammer/chisel? I would think any mechanic would be able to somehow remove the stuck bolt but if you've already tried most options, there may not be much that they can do...

PB Blaster and a propane torch. If that doesn't work, use a cut-off wheel on an angle grinder and chop both ends off.
