Default Blazer 1988 No turn signal.

Hello. I have no turn signals. Fuse is ok and i have replaced flasher on the fuse block. Read somewhere that there could be a second flasher om top of steering column but have not seen one. Checked the front direction lights and they have ground in bottom of the sockets. Any tip would be much appreciated.
*Solved. This button deactivated turn signals.. ?

Why on earth is there a button to deactivate the turn signals? What's the benefit of that?

I think that is what is left of the emergency flasher/ 4 way button - it will lock out the blinkers and if the flasher that controls them is bad nothing will flash

Yes makes sense. Where is that flasher located?

Search shows right hand side of the steering column under the dash and close to instrument panel on a pig tail in the wiring harness so I guess I'd start with looking there.
