There likely won't be a plug for the mirror in the head liner. You basically need power, ground, and then a wire from the back-up circuit to keep the mirror from dimming when you are in reverse.

What year was the Bravada? I can pull a wiring diagram for you once I know that.

The 3 wire plug is the power, ground, and back-up wires. The 2 wire plug is for the courtesy lamps under the mirror. Here's the diagram:

this mirror dosnt have courtesy lights under it. so realisticly all i need is a power and ground for it to work, which if there isnt a a connector i can just tap into the dome lights. thank you for the diagram by the way.

Ground should be easy, but don't pull it off the dome lights. The ground to the dome lights is fed from open door sensors and/or the courtesy lamp relay so it is not constant. Also, I wouldn't pull power from the dome lights either since they are fed +12V constant from the battery, not a switched ignition source.

Power should come from a switched ignition source and then ground to whatever you can that is constant.

ok thanks. il try and find a switched power up there. how many amps dose this draw. cant be much. i could try and locate the switched power for the thermometer/ compass.

also i just went and looked at my harness that i got with the mirror. the wire colors are black (B) green (A)and pink(C). dose the pink substitiute for the brown?
