Default Left blinker is rapid fire.

Hello, I just recently got my first Blazer, and this ride is slick! 95,000 on her, and runs like a charm. I’m wanting to upgrade the headlights to LEDs, but before that, I want to fix one small issue.

So the left turn blinker goes rapid fire when activated, while the right blinker is normal. The blinker also works normally while using the hazards. Could this be a relay issue? Something crossed somewhere?

Admittedly, I’m not very savvy with electronics (or Chevy’s in general, grew up in a Ford house) so any pointers on what to look for on this would be appreciated. This is my first rig that I’d like to take care of, learn more about, and gain some man points in the mechanical department.

Sounds like you have a blown bulb on that side. Check front and rear. You said hazards seem normal. Turn them on then go around the truck and see if one isn't blinking. Do this with parking lights turned on.

Remember there is more than one bulb in the tail lights. Compare one side to the other.

Okay, I’ll take a look once I get off work, thanks for the tip!

Thanks guys! The bottom left bulb was out, so $1.50 Napa replacement bulb did the trick.
