what i had to do was splice into the drivers side headlight, the yellow wire WITHOUT the black stripe and ground it to the core support with a self tappin screw. mine is a 2001 BlaZeR 2

So did you do only the driver side? I have A 99 blazer 4x4, and I'm having the same problems. Driver Side works fine. Passenger side is dim on low and when switched to high beam, my passenger side goes out all together

I made it simple on my 04. I used a paper clip to tap into the yellow wire at the socket then used a wire with alligator clips on both ends. One end to the paper clip and the other to a good ground, I used a self tapper sheet metal screw to radiator support for my good ground. Its like a 5 minute project. Only did my driver side no need to do both sides.

Well, I still had no luck. So what I did was, went to the junk yard and got a couple pigtails, tapped into my driver side and ran new wires to the passenger side. And tucked away passenger factory harness. Left the yellow wire grounded on passenger side. Seems to work ok.
