To add to what everyone else has said, wear your seatbelt, smoking kills, drugs are bad, stay in school, eat your vegatables, and find Jesus

This thread's got me thinking . . . (surprised?) I've been driving for 45 years now (legally) Driving age back then (when Pa fell off the bus LOL) was 18.

I've had about 9 or 10 speeding ticketsi n this time - whis is about 2 every decade LOL.

First was when I was about 20 & in those days the cops used stop watches. One guy at the top of the hill (in this case) & the other down at the bottom. Can't recall the speed but hey how fast is too fast in a 1500 bug?

Back then the cops had to do the math with the head - no calculator or computer then - boy am I old! Most of you guys can't imagine life without - at least a calculator!

Anyway, I digress - most of the tickets were got when I was repping for a transport company in the early 80's - used to do around 80 - 90 k Kms a year.

No tickets between '88 & '09. Got one last year for doing 79 in a 60 zone! Cost me $120. Caught by a camera they hide in the rear of mini busses they park randomly on the side of the road around town. looks like a legit parked vehicle with no markings.
