We have a 3 point rule here to, some areas have a 4 point rule.


I only have one tag left out of 6. Sad thing is the freezer is still empty. I think dad has 2 and my brother has 1. We dont hunt horns just meat.

 

Yea we hunt for meat too But they didnt give me doe tags this year.... Aw well... Freezers empty here too sadly

 

I only hunt deer, Black powder and bowhunting. I`ve gotten 5 deer

 

I havent been in years. why? Simply put i hate going by myself. My friends i have now dont hunt,and id enjoy it more if i had someone to go with. Also,i dont really care much for the taste. Yea you can marinate it in ways to eliminate the game taste but there is a meat market in town that sells ribeyes for $2 and ribs for $2.29lb. Id rather eat cow. Id go on a hunt in a heartbeat if i had the chance though.

 

Hunted elk back in Nov, no deer tag. Didn't get an elk this year but still eating on last year's elk and deer.

There is some truth in bigger is better...lol
