Almost ready to drop 2000 Chevy blazer...Anything else???
I have a 2000 chevy blazer 4 door 2wd can i simply install 2 inch drop spindles up front and 3 inch lowering blocks in rear and call it a day??I hear on other forums that setback plates and pinion shims are needed as well to do a drop..Are they necessary or can I just go with my setup..If anyone's dropped their blazer with just spindles and blocks please let me know.

I had 4 inch drop blocks in the rear that were angle cut, no need for the shims, and got a slight vibration. I swapped to 3 inch blocks that weren't angled and the vibration is gone. I stuck an angle finder on my driveshaft and the axle input and i'm running a 3 degree angle, which is about where it needs to be. So yeah, just gotta slap it in and see where you are at imo. Depends on tire size and all that good stuff.
