Default Rear bumper lift

So I’ve tried looking and haven’t found any clear answer. I have a 2000 blazer 4dr and I’ve put a body lift on it but my rear bumper can’t be lifted with the body as I have the factory tow package. I’m wondering if anyone has found a way to lift the bumper and how they did it

What kit did you get? The one I was looking at doesnt say anything about factory towing, but says the bumper cant be used for towing, which I wouldnt do anyways lol...

That is the kit I got but if you have the factory tow package then u can’t use the brackets they included for mounting the rear bumper. The tow package has the brackets on the hidden hitch and non tow package has mounts that u replace with the kit

Can you cut the stock bumper brackets and weld them back together with an offset so the bumper sits up higher? I did that once on a full-size Chevy and it worked pretty well.

I was tempted to look and see if I can cut the stock and bolt the new brackets on with the hitch still

With a torch and a welder, all things are possible.

So I got the bumper all lined up with the performance accessories bumper brackets I posted it all on my build and the steps with pictures on how I did it mostly cutting but the top bolt holes on the bumper had to be drilled out a little more to get the bolts to line up but that’s simple
