Roof Basket/Rack?

the roof rack is made from 3/4" conduit, if you have access to a welder you can weld up a basket yourself that will be more the sufficient for what you want. make plates that fit where the current holes are for your roof brackets, then use some square tubing to make pillers that go straight up from those brackets. weld another piece across the top. use some small U bolts to bolt your basket to the brackets. if you want to put your spare on the roof simply add another brace from the from to the rear bracket down the middle...and weld a long enough bolt right to it....make yourself a long enough wingnut too. anyways if you have a welder or access to one you can make yourself a hefty working rack for about 100$

Well guys unfortunatley i had to get rid of my baby the other day (blazer) so i wont be needing a roof raack for it but im still gonna be in search of one for the new grocery getter. Had to get rid of it because ww found out that my wife is possibly expecting and were gonna need all the extra room we can get.
