my blazer at the local fair
Nice pictures! I just bought the Rebel T1i DSLR and on my recent vacation schooled my self pretty good on the different settings and their capabilities. I do not have the pictures off the camera yet and some of the long exposure stuff ended up blurry (did not bring the mount for my tripod making it useless), but I'll post them when I get them into my Photobucket account.
yeah i did get a weird look here and there, made me think that they were thinking i was out there taking pics of kids or something. sad the world has came to that.
as far as the shots themselves they are pretty easy to do, these were shot with a 3-5 second exposure with my camera on a tripod of course. the simplest way to do it is just put your camera of shutter priority(nikon) or tv mode(canon) where you pick the shutter speed and the camera adjusts the aperture for you. i used a remote to trigger my camera but if you dont have one you can just put the timer on. that helps cut out the vibrations from you pressing the shutter button.
