Default dont think it is like the other 4x4 questions

i know my 4 wheel drive does not work so it will cost a lot to fix it and i dont have that much money so does that system make my gas milage go down even if i dont use it? and if it does can i get it taken out? thanks

i dont think it will affect your mileage. You may be able to get a littlemore mpgif you removed 4wd parts (weight reduction) not sure if that helps

You can't really remove any 4wd parts other than the driveshaft from the t-case to the front diff.

It's not built to run without them.
