Off topic: When you debadged, was there a difference in the tone of your paint? I may do the goo-gone and fishing line trick. but if you'll be able to see on the black where the badges were I don't think I'll go through with it.

there wasnt a color difference, but you could definitely tell where the emblems were. it was like the emblem kept the paint flatter and you could see ridges around where the emblem used to be.

the best thing i think is to grab a bottle of isopropyl alcohol, a hairdryer, a rag for the alcohol and a plastic razorblade...

heat up the emblem to where it is somewhat flexible and wont shatter and the first tug and slowly slide the razor blade under the emblem to lift the adhesive.
I would assuem the fishing line would work better but would leave the residue behind more...

either way with the rag and iso. alky. pour a bit on the rag and rub the adhesive and it should rub right off...

after that use paint cleaner or good wax and wax the area a few times and all should be good..

after a few good waxes and washes and the elements of weather you will not be able to tell where the emblems were, unless you scratch the paint surface... in that case a good buffer will bring scratches out
