i got a set of 22x9.5 inch rims. the tires are 265/35's. they are going on a 1998 4x4. i know i will have to crank the torsion bars up for clearance but will i have to get an alignment done once i do turn the torsion bars. will it create toe in or toe out. i dont want to wear the tires down on only one side.

 

yes you will need to get an alignment

x3. Anytime you touch the tbars you need an alignment. It throws the front end all out of wack.

 

Yes you will need an alignment. but the 22's shouldnt have any clearance issues. I ran 22's on stock height without any issues. Those wheels and tires will only be a tad taller then stock. Stock diameter is 28.9" new tire is 29.3". Thats a differance of only 0.4". You should be fine.

 

i put them on last night and they rubbed on the bottom of the fender. i take it its probally because of the +13 offset. they only stick out like a half in though up front

 

since we don't know the mileage of your truck, i'm gonna guess maybe the t-bars sag a bit? but if you crank the bars (even an inch), you're gonna need to bring the rear up too.

have you checked your wheel wells to see if you're sitting level?

 

usually these trucks sit an inch higher in the rear so cranking up the bars will most likely just level the truck out
