Little Insight on my 4.3 vortec problem

Sorry about that it's getting 60-62psi, and actualy im purchasing that today (the harness).
If this is off topic just let me know but I was told that the distributor controls the firing of the injector because the computer gets the timing to fire it from the distributor.

The injector timing is controlled in part by the CKP (crankshaft position) sensor adn in part by the CMP (camshaft position) sensor. Both sensors are used to determine the precise timing for the injector to fire. The CKP is located in the timing cover on the front of the engine while the CMP sensor is located inside the distributor.

Ok, thank you. Will post back when I get the harness on.

EGR valve anyone? Checked it? Cleaned it? Blew it out yet? That could cause some of the symptoms you mentioned. I wouldn't buy a new harness until all avenues were checked. Unless you got it like that. Just a suggestion.
