Ha, good catch! Thanks! Looks like 98 was the first year that the wheel speed sensor is in the hub!

Just wanted to add that I gravity bleed all four again before my assistance arrived to do the ole "pedal down, open bleeder, hold pedal, close bleeder, pedal up" routine.

Had good brake fluid flow at each wheel this time.

Still went ahead and did the pedal bleed and only got three air bubbles ar the right front.
Have not driven the Blazer yet, but suspect all is good now.

Took Blazer for a drive and brakes are better than ever!!

No more noise coming from the left front wheel bearing....oh that is nice!!

And....with the new front bearings on both sides the Blazer has more power upon take-off from a stop, goes faster, gets better fuel mileage, the ride is smoother, and....my sex life is better too!

Okay...I may have stretched a bit on some of those....LOL......

Take care eveyone.

Well I am sad to report that I still have a noise issue after the front right hub was replaced. As much as I and others that haven driven my truck thought that the noise was coming from the front right, I am told the rear right axle bearing is the culprit. I have read many of the other threads on rear axle bearing noise and I am conflicted as what to do next. It appears that there is a more than likely chance that the axle in question will need a bearing axle kit to accommodate wear on the axle. It also appears that often times this repair often does not work for long. I am also given to believe that the pinion bearing might also be the source of the noise. So the question I have for you folks is this: What is the best way to approach this problem? I do have a posi-rear in this truck. Thanks!

Hey Capn Hook I replaced my right side wheel bearing approx 4 months ago.I put in a Moog a little more expensive but after doing some research found this to be the better. I'm starting to hear that light roaring coming from that side again did I get a bad one, it does have a 3yr warranty I have no garage and tooo cold to change right know.
