Do you have any suggestions on how much port area I should use for 2 15s?

 

100 to 140 sq in is a ball park figure. Its completely up to you

 

So I'm at home now and just measured it up...was a little off on my estimates.
38" W
29.5" D1
33" D2
17" H
And used http://bcae1.com to calculate net box volume w/ 4 6" dia ports tuned 35hz and it comes out to be 7.6 cubes net, so I guess that puts an end to the debate...prlly the only thing I coulda fixed was the port length since the back of the ports to the back of the box length is less than the dia. of the ports.

 

either way the current box is still smaller dimensions than a 8 cubes net box with a slot port.

 

looks decent but you should choose a better brand of subwoofer
