x2 on this...its just as easy to run an amp to each sub. strapping can get complicated especially if both amps are not set exact. Bad things happen lol.

are you sure the amps are strapable? Not all amps are. they have to be specifically made to do that. Personally, I would just run one amp to each sub. 2000RMS is a bit on a stock charging system. I would definitely look into upgrading the alt.

I think you got that backwards, gain matching the amps when you run one amp to one sub is a little more difficult than strapping them. When you strap them the slave amp gets all the settings from the master amp so theres less tuning involved.

i have 2 diamond audio tdx subs with 2 diamond d51200.1 ampsrunning along with a high amp... each 1200 is runninga sub... putting an extra battery in the back is a bad idea cuz that strains ur alt even more... when every1 says strap them that can b good and bad at the same time... ifu mess up onsomthin bye bye subs... if i were u i would just run each amp to each sub and bridgethem down as low as u possiably can... also run 1/0 gauge if u can afford it...u will notice alot of difference if u do that...

thats not bridging. you are talking about wiring parallel or series to obtain the desired impedence.
