Finally started on rebuilding the Durango front driveshaft. Got it all busted down, hope it goes back together smoothly
And the mail just came, the rest of my snorkel pieces just got delivered!
Think I'll take a break from the driveshaft, and work on the snorkel for a bit! I'll try to get a write up put together in the how to section later tonight
It is looking real sweet. I noticed your Blazer appears to barely clear that garage door or is that just the angle? Another simple question but assuming this is functional for a reason how do you go about making the wiring more robust to handle the expected swamping?

It clears the garage door, but not by much!
As far as regular wiring goes, I'm gonna put my faith in 25 year old weather pack connectors! For the ignition, I plan on packing the spark plug wires with dielectric grease to hopefully keep water out, and I'm going to silicone the distributor cap onto the distributor body. I've read if you do that, you need to run a vent into the cap. Need to do some more research on that.
Diff, trans, and tcase vents will be legnthened and routed as high as possible, as well.
Wish I could relocate the computer higher, but that's a task I'll pass on! Too many wires. And besides, for that to get wet, water is over the hood, and I'm in trouble anyway.
